Description

“St. Daniel” is a prince in a dark mantle holding a model church. Brown with blue and red.

What the picture shows

The saint is shown to the waist, with a fair beard and a small red cap. A dark brown mantle falls from his shoulders and covers most of the figure, with blue clothing and a red band showing beneath. Both hands hold a white-and-blue model church with several domes in front of him. The halo is a ring of amber beads and the ground is golden rays. At the bottom there is a pale plaque set in a gold frame, with two squares of red-and-gold bead ornament on either side of it. The mantle, the church, the ring of the halo and the border are beaded; the face, the hands and the gold ground are left to the print.
