Mini Icon Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "St. Cyril"

“St. Cyril” is a saint in monastic dress holding an open book. Brown, white and gold.

What the picture shows

The saint is shown to the waist, with a dark beard and a bowed head. A cowl trimmed with white pearl beads covers his head, the trim running down onto his chest in two bands. The mantle is worked in brown beads in several tones. Both hands hold an open book with visible lines of writing and a coloured miniature on the left page. The halo is a ring of amber beads and the ground is golden rays with red dots at the top. A plaque in a gold frame finishes the image at the bottom, and the corners on either side are filled with fine red-and-gold ornament. The clothing, the halo and the border are beaded; the face, the hands and the golden rays stay printed on the canvas.
