Mini Icon Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "St. Constantine"

“St. Constantine” is an emperor in red with white-and-blue trim, a sceptre in his hand. The most ceremonial male image in the batch.

What the picture shows

The emperor stands frontally in a low crown set with red stones. His outer robe is red, and a wide white-and-blue band crosses his chest and shoulders, worked solidly in pale beads as if embroidered with pearls. His right hand holds a long sceptre, also trimmed with white beads. The halo is gathered from amber beads and the ground is golden rays. A gold border runs along the whole edge, and the lower part of the image is taken up by a name plaque between two ornaments. The robe, the band, the ring of the halo and the border are beaded; the face, the hands and the gold ground are left to the print.
