Mini Bead Embroidery Magnet Kit "Turtle"

“Turtle” is a green turtle with an amber shell walking among transparent bubbles.

What the picture shows

The turtle has stretched out its neck and looks up with big eyes; its legs are short and its tail sticks out to the side. Green beads outline the head, neck, legs and the lower edge of the shell, while clear amber beads build the shell itself in two arcs and ring the large bubble on the right. Light pastel circles — pink, lilac, blue — float around, printed on a cream ground. The composition is airy: plenty of empty space and little dense beading. 151 beads in two colours. The canvas is not filled edge to edge — the beads follow the main lines and the rest stays printed, which is why the piece reads as a drawing rather than a solid beaded carpet. Preciosa beads are calibrated and even in size, so the rows come out straight without sorting them first.
