“Pattern – 3” is a blue diamond with an eight-pointed star inside it.

What the picture shows

The printed pattern here is blue: rows of cross-stitches, squares with flowers in the corners and a border of fine ornament. Black beads lay out the eight-pointed star right in the centre — it comes out raised and catches the eye at once. Dark blue beads outline the whole diamond along its diagonals and mark its points. The white canvas between the lines stays open, so the design reads easily even at this small size. 160 beads in two colours. The print on the canvas shows between the beads: this piece needs no solid filling, and the beadwork acts as an accent over a finished drawing. The pattern is printed straight onto the canvas, so you can stitch anywhere — on the road or at the kitchen table, with no screen and no printouts.
