Description

“Chicken – 2” is a yellow chick carrying a pink Easter egg on its back.

What the picture shows

The chick stands side-on with its head turned towards you, holding a pink egg tied with a lilac ribbon and bow under its wing. Golden yellow beads outline the head, body and wing closely and bring out the fluffy contour, while pink beads gather into flower rosettes on the grass and on the egg itself. The sky is blue, the grass green, and the small flowers around are printed. The eye is large and blue, the beak and feet orange. A warm, clear piece with nothing extra. 141 beads in two colours. The beads do not cover the canvas completely: the printed image around them stays open, and every shade missing from the beads is given by the print itself. On a 50×50 mm square every bead shows, so it helps to lay the stitches in an even row facing one way.
