Description

“The magic of the night sky” is a little house with lit windows perched on a golden moon.

What the picture shows

A crescent curves across the whole picture, worked in gold, ochre and cream beads with a fine pattern along its edge. A small house with a gabled roof and three yellow windows stands on it, with dark blue shrubs and trees beside it. Golden stars and white dots are scattered over the dark ground. The beads cover the moon, the house, the shrubs and the stars; the night ground stays printed. Each window is three yellow beads — enough to make the house look lived in. The shrubs by the house use a darker blue than the ground, so they only show from close up, and the piece opens up gradually. The pattern along the edge of the moon repeats three times, which makes the arc convenient to bead in sections.
