Description

“Nighty night” is a bear falling asleep in bed with a doll at its side.

What the picture shows

The bed stands diagonally: the quilt is beaded in pale blue with yellow dots and a white edging, and an orange band of beads runs below. The bear lies on the pillow with a pink beaded bow on its head, a little doll in a pink dress beside it. A yellow canopy with gold beaded fringe hangs above the bed, and to the left is a bedside table with a pink cloth, a book and a lamp. An oval portrait of a bear in a pink beaded frame hangs on the wall. Below are a toy box, a ball and a mouse; the night window with its stars stays printed. The quilt is the largest beaded area: blue rows with yellow dots cover almost a quarter of the canvas. The canopy fabric stays printed — only the fringe is beaded. The oval frame on the wall is beaded in pink around the rim. The bear, the doll and the floor take no beads.
