Description

“Mothers and daughters” is a bear cub pushing a pink pram along a garden path.

What the picture shows

The cub wears a white bonnet with a pink bow, beaded densely, and pushes a pram in front of it. The pram itself is laid out in pink and pale blue beads: the hood, the body, the handle and two wheels with beaded spokes. A doll can be seen inside. A bag with a round appliqué hangs at the cub’s left, and shoes and a gold frill finish the hem below. A green wrought fence runs behind, and above it a bush of pink flowers and green leaves is beaded densely. Two bees hover in the air, beaded as well. The yellow path stays printed. The pram wheels are laid out as circles with spokes of single beads — the finest work in the piece is here. The bush above is densely beaded: pink flowers alternate with green leaves and fill almost the whole upper band. The fence is only outlined in green, with print left between the bars. The bees are tiny, a few beads each.
