“Moonlight dreamer” is a girl in a blue dress sitting on a golden moon with a magic wand.

What the picture shows

The crescent moon curves right across the canvas: its rim is beaded in gold and orange in several rows, while the moon itself stays printed, with a closed eye and a smile. A girl sits on it: her dress is beaded densely in blue with a white frill along the hem, and she wears a lilac cap with a pink beaded band and a small gold crown. In her hand is a wand with a pink-and-red star. The violet night sky is strewn with beaded stars — white with yellow centres, gold ones, and single small beads. The dress is beaded solidly and gives the largest blue patch in the piece. The rim of the moon is worked in two or three rows, from gold on the outside to orange within. The stars differ: some have five rays of white beads, others are simply gold balls. Between them the violet canvas stays open, so the night sky keeps its depth.
