Description

“Meow Christmas” shows a black kitten in a red cap inside a dense Christmas wreath.

What the picture shows

The wreath is built from dark green fir branches, blue needles, black twigs and red berries, with small white and red flowers scattered between them. A black cat with white whiskers and a pink nose sits in the centre, wearing a red-and-green jumper and a cap with a white pompom. A red banner across the top carries the words “Meowy Christmas”, the letters worked in black and white beads. The pale blue ground stays printed: on art canvas the beads are not solid — they hold the wreath, the cat and the lettering, and the print does the rest. The wreath is beaded sprig by sprig, each in its own shade of green, so the main difficulty is not mixing the colours. The letters go one bead at a time and need care, while the cat itself is quick to work.
