Description

“Love potion” is a heart-shaped bottle with a red drink inside.

What the picture shows

A glass flask stands in the centre: a wide heart filled with deep red, a narrow neck above it with a dark stopper, and one more small red heart on top. The glass is given in pale and grey beads with highlights, the contents in red and cherry. Silver-grey twigs with narrow leaves rise on either side, like frost. The ground is pink with blurred crimson patches below; it stays as printing on the canvas. The highlight on the glass is a few white beads laid diagonally, and that is what makes the flask look transparent. The twigs on either side use the palest grey in the palette, so they read as frost rather than foliage. The small heart above the stopper uses the same red as the liquid in the flask.
