Mini Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "Lily"

“Lily” is an open yellow-and-orange bloom with a bud on a warm ochre ground.

What the picture shows

The flower fills almost the entire circle: the broad petals run from pale cream at the edges to saturated orange near the centre, with rust-coloured veins along each petal. Long stamens are worked in black and dark brown and cross the bloom diagonally. Green leaves in two shades with dark veins lie to the left and below, and a closed bud sits on a bent stem above. The background — yellow canvas with a printed pale plant pattern — is left as it is: only the lily and its leaves are beaded, and the border between print and beads stays clearly visible. The petals are beaded in rows that radiate from the centre, so the light falls on them naturally. The bud above is green and yellow with a clear rust-coloured tip. Compared with the flower, the leaves are beaded more sparingly, in a few lines along the veins.
