Knitting bunnies shows two small children in pink bunny-eared hoods sitting in the snow and knitting a long scarf.

What the picture shows

The hoods with their long ears are edged in pink and yellow, the jumpers in pink stripes that follow the knit. The red heart on the smaller bunny’s chest is filled with red beads, the ball of yarn at their feet with orange and amber, and the needles are marked with dark beads. The long scarf below is outlined in pink with a red edging. White and blue beaded snowflakes are scattered across the pale blue ground. The faces, the paws and the snowdrifts stay as watercolour print on the canvas. The nine colours divide between the pinks of the clothes, the red of the heart and scarf, and the white and blue snowflakes across the ground.
