Description

Kitchen – 1 is a shelf of tins for flour, sugar and cookies, a rolling pin, eggs in a bowl and daisies to one side. A homely kitchen scene.

What the picture shows

The tins are outlined in brown and gold with red lids, and the big cookie jar is built from lilac and pale blue rows. The rolling pin is worked in white and pearl with brown handles, a band of amber beads running beneath it. The daisies at the bottom are white beads with yellow centres and green leaves. The border is filled with gold beads, while the wooden ground, the hearts, the stars and the eggs themselves stay as print: the beads outline the objects and pick out the details. The eleven colours are shared between the tins, the rolling pin, the flowers and the gold border, so no part is left without its own shade.
