Mini Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "Happy Christmas"

“Happy Christmas” shows a rooster on a snowy branch, with a quiet winter yard and a red barn behind him.

What the picture shows

The bird fills the upper half — a gold and russet body worked in rows of pale feathers, a bright red comb, and a long curved tail of dark green and blue plumes. Below him lie snow-covered fir branches, red berries on thin twigs and a large red poinsettia. A narrow dark green band on the right repeats the poinsettia and scatters more berries. The snow, the snowy spruces and the red building behind are printed on the canvas and are not beaded — the embroidery sits over a watercolour winter scene. The poinsettia below is worked in several reds with a yellow centre, and the snow on the fir needles is marked with white beads set two or three together. The red barn and the distant spruces stay as soft watercolour patches.
