Mini Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "Gifts"

“Gifts” is a small child in a red cap, all but hidden behind an armful of presents.

What the picture shows

A round-faced child in a red dress and cap stands at the bottom, the brim of the cap densely edged with white beads; there is a necklace at the throat, small flowers on the bodice and sleeves, and a blue fan of pale beads in one hand. Above rises a heap of presents: striped and spotted boxes, a teddy bear, sweets, balls and ribbons, each box tied with a beaded bow in gold, raspberry or red. Pale flower-snowflakes are scattered around, and at the lower right sits a large blue beaded circle with spokes. Bands with a silver ground and red beaded hearts run down both sides. The bows on the boxes are beaded densely while the boxes themselves stay printed, which makes the presents look wrapped in real paper. The brim of the cap and the necklace are the lightest parts of the piece and pull the eye down to the child.
