Description

“Flying pig” shows a pink pig with white wings flying over a toy-like town on a starry night.

What the picture shows

The pig fills the upper half: the body is worked in pink and peach beads, the snout and trotters darker, the wings silvery white with long rows of beads following the feathers. The sky is blue, set with large white stars and spiral swirls that are beaded too. Below stands a little house with yellow windows and a red-and-yellow roof, beside round lollipop trees in red, yellow and orange, and under them a green hill with a stream outlined in blue beads. The drawing is deliberately naive, almost childlike. The wings and the stars are worked in white beads of varying density, so the night sky does not look flat. The trees and the roof are filled solidly, while the grass and the stream are only outlined.
