Description

“Festive tea party” shows a pink cup lettered JOY with a dense Christmas bouquet growing out of it.

What the picture shows

The cup takes the lower third: pink and crimson beads across the body, white JOY lettering, a curved handle of small beads. A bouquet rises from it — fir branches, a red poinsettia, clusters of red berries, orange and lilac flowers, white blossom and a striped candy cane to one side. Small gold bells hang between the flowers. The upper sprigs are worked in several rows of fine green beads, which makes the bouquet look fluffy. The pale ground stays printed: on art canvas the beads do not cover the surface. The bouquet is beaded from the bottom up, layer by layer: fir branches first, then the flowers, and last the bells and berries that sit on top. The letters on the cup are worked in matt white beads and read even from a distance.
