“Favorite dandelion” is yellow dandelions and fluffy white seed heads on a pale green ground.

What the picture shows

The little bunch grows from the bottom up: three yellow flowers with dense petals worked in ochre and lemon beads, and beside them two white seed heads made of pale beads with fine rays. Long toothed leaves spread to the sides, and a few seeds drift off to the right. The pale green ground with its soft patches stays as printing on the canvas, which makes the seed heads look translucent rather than cut from paper. The rays of the seed heads are single beads with gaps between them, so the ground shows through. The drifting seeds are made of single white beads. The leaves are beaded along the central vein, so their toothed edges show even at this small scale.
