Description

“Easter patterns” sets two chicks beside painted eggs inside a border of diamonds and check.

What the picture shows

The chicks stand together, one with a pale blue bow, the other looking aside; their down is beaded in yellow, their beaks in orange. Three eggs lie in front of them — violet with white spots, striped pink and orange, and plain yellow — with small flowers and green leaves growing between. The ground is white and green check, and a band of yellow and blue diamonds with floral rosettes at the corners frames the scene. The check and the light areas stay as print on the canvas; beads carry the chicks, the eggs, the flowers and the border. The eggs are filled with rows running across their shape, which makes them look rounded. The diamonds of the border are four or five beads each and alternate exactly as the print dictates, with no counting needed.
