Description

Easter party gathers two bunnies and a yellow chick around a basket of painted eggs. The ginger bunny is smiling, the grey one is waving a paw.

What the picture shows

The eggs in the basket and below it are worked in bright beads: red and blue stripes, a tulip in pearly white, pink flowers with yellow centres. The grass is short stitches of emerald beads framing the scene at the top and bottom. The bunnies’ clothes — a blue waistcoat and a red shirt — are outlined in contour rows, and the chick is yellow with an orange beak. The woven basket stays printed, with beads only along its rim. The faces, ears and soft fur also remain full-colour print: the background is not filled in completely, and the beads follow outlines and colour patches. Nine colours keep the Easter palette clean rather than busy.
