Description

“Dream” sets the word in dark green beads with roses and a butterfly above an old postcard.

What the picture shows

The word stretches across the centre: the letters are worked in two shades of green with a large flourish on the first, and small pink flowers are scattered above it. Two large pink roses open at the top right with lilac shadows and green leaves. A butterfly sits at the bottom left, its lilac-pink wings outlined in dark beads, beside a yellowed postcard with handwriting and a round postmark. A pale ornamental band with pink flowers runs down the left and along the bottom. The peach-and-green ground stays as printing and is deliberately muted so the lettering reads first. The roses are the densest part: the petals are worked in arcs from the pale edge to the dark heart. The rest of the field stays as fine printing.
