Description

“Cute baby” shows a French bulldog in a polka-dot box, buried in sweets.

What the picture shows

The puppy is black and white, with big ears and a watchful look; its muzzle and paws are laid in white and black beads. The box is black with white spots, tied with a large red bow and marked with a yellow tag. Round sweets — red, orange, white — are scattered around it, and a pink spiral lollipop stands to the left. The saturated lilac ground is even and softly graded and stays as print on the canvas. Beads carry the dog, the box, the bow and every sweet, so the small details hold. The bulldog's face is filled densely, with a clean line between the black and the white, and the ears are worked in rows running from base to tip. Each sweet is beaded as a small ring of three or four beads.
