Mini Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "Coffee"

“Coffee” is a cup on a saucer with a few beans beside it, worked in only six bead colours.

What the picture shows

A pale cup in cream and yellow tones with a curved handle stands in the centre of the circle; the surface of the drink inside is beaded in dark green and black and gives the piece its darkest patch. The saucer is wide, with a shadow under the cup, and to the left of it lie two coffee beans and a long strip that reads as a spoon. The background — warm yellow canvas with printed pale rings — is deliberately left unbeaded, so the whole embroidery rests on the small silhouette in the middle. The palette is restrained: yellow, cream, white, ochre and dark green. The handle of the cup and the rim of the saucer are outlined with a separate line of pale beads, so the silhouette reads even from a distance. The shadow under the saucer is worked in ochre and sets the cup on a surface. The beans on the left are tiny, a few beads each, yet they balance the composition.
