Mini Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "Christmas Elf"

“Christmas Elf” is a round-faced child in a red cap running through falling snow.

What the picture shows

The figure holds the centre: a red coat with white trim, striped red-and-white leggings, gold skates and a long dark blue shock of hair streaming behind. The beads go into the wide brim of the cap and its pompom, the silver trim on the coat and hem, the flower buttons, the mittens and the skates. The background is pale blue with printed snowflakes and white specks; over it five large snowflakes are beaded inside silver rings, their rays worked in pale blue. Bands of a dense red-and-silver pattern, close to a knitted ornament, run down both sides. The snowflakes inside the rings differ in pattern: two have straight rays, the others end in small drops. The cap and the coat trim are the most densely beaded parts, so the figure reads clearly even against a busy ground. The side ornaments are beaded solidly and take up a noticeable share of the material. The face, the hands and the snow stay printed.
