Mini Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "Butterfly"

“Butterfly” shows a blue-winged butterfly with yellow bands resting against a branch of pale pink blossom.

What the picture shows

The wings are spread symmetrically and fill almost the whole round composition. The upper pair is worked in deep blue with tiny white and pale blue dots that read as light on the scales; a broad yellow band runs along each wing and repeats in angular patches near the body. The lower wings are darker with a black rim along the edge; the body is black and golden brown and the antennae are thin and slightly curved. Seven bead colours go almost entirely into the butterfly itself. The background — pale pink apple blossom with grey-green leaves on cream canvas — stays printed: the beading is not solid, it follows the figure only.
