Description

BMW gives the round badge almost the whole canvas: a dark ring with lettering and blue-and-white quarters inside, with a lit night city behind.

What the picture shows

The inner circle is split into four quarters — two white, two pale blue — each filled with tight concentric arcs, which gives them a faint shimmer. The cross between the quarters and the outer rim are worked in black and silver, and the letters BMW along the top of the ring are white beads. The blue background with its skyscrapers, lights and receding road stays as print: only the badge itself is beaded, and it stands proud of the canvas. Five colours cover the whole badge: two shades for the quarters, black and silver for the ring, white for the letters.
