Mini Bead Embroidery Kit on Art Canvas "Bird"

“Bird” is a violet bird carrying a leaf in its beak as it lifts off above two little clouds.

What the picture shows

This is not a portrait of a real species but a drawn character, the kind found in a picture book. The body and wings are worked in lilac-violet beads shading to blue across the back, the beak is bright yellow, and beside it are a pink cheek and black beads for the eyes. In its beak the bird holds a green leaf with clear veins, worked in three shades of green. Two clouds of pale blue and white beads sit below, outlined in a darker blue. Everything else — the pale blue sky with faint swirls — stays printed on the canvas and takes no beads at all. The raised wing is worked in a lighter lilac than the back, so the movement shows. The tail is short, with two pointed feathers. The clouds lie one behind the other, the lower one larger, and a strip of printed sky is left between them.
