Description

“Believe” sets the word itself in gold beads among pink blossom and dragonflies.

What the picture shows

The word runs across the middle of the piece: the letters are worked in golden amber beads over the printed calligraphic outline, with a large flourish on the first one. Sprays of pink and crimson flowers open below and to the side, each with small bead centres, alongside green leaves and thin stems. A blue dragonfly with clear wings hovers at the top right and a smaller one at the left. A pale cream panel frames the composition, edged with rows of pink and pearl beads; behind it the pale pink and lime ground with printed scrolls is left unbeaded. The letters are set as an even single-file row of beads, so the word looks brushed rather than assembled.
