Description

Aero-662 sets a golden coupe against an almost colourless city street. The background is grey and pencil-drawn, and only the car carries any warmth.

What the picture shows

The body is worked in a warm range — pearl, sand, amber, dark gold — so the surface behaves like polished metal. Black beads mark the wings and sills, the wheels are black with white spokes and silver rims, and the headlamps are bright beads with a glint. The windows are left dark and unbeaded. The baroque domed church, the column and the row of houses are drawn in grey on the canvas and stay unbeaded, which is what makes the car read as the only piece of colour in the frame. The eight colours build a warm range with one cold accent — silver on the rims and lamps — which makes the gold of the body read even stronger.
