Description

“Would you like a berry?” shows two bullfinches in a Christmas wreath with a red bow.

What the picture shows

The birds sit in the lower part of the wreath and look at one another: the right one has a bright red breast, a black head and a grey and white wing, while the left one is darker, with a brown breast. One holds a red berry in its beak. The wreath closes into a circle of dark green and turquoise leaves, bunches of red berries, small white flowers with yellow centres and golden stars in the corners. A large red bow with long tails ties the wreath at the top, stitched in raspberry and dark red beads. A pale label reading “with LOVE” hangs below the birds. Turquoise-green print stays inside the circle, and the dark grey ground at the edges takes no beads.
