Description

“Warm feelings” is a tree whose crown and roots together outline a heart.

What the picture shows

The trunk comes out of the middle and branches symmetrically upward and downward: the crown above, the roots below, and together they draw a large heart. The foliage is worked in warm beads — brick, orange, ochre and gold — with dark red berries here and there. The branches and roots are pale cream-beige, stitched in fine rows. The grey-brown washed ground with a few fallen leaves stays printed, which makes the crown look fuller. The foliage is made of separate beads set at different angles, which makes the crown look tufted rather than smooth.
