Description

“Tea meeting” is a tower of three flowered teacups on a pink ground.

What the picture shows

The cups are stacked one on another: the lowest is white and pale blue on a wide saucer edged with gold and yellow beads, the middle one carries a blue band and a wreath of tiny red and pink flowers, the top one is pink with a white lace pattern and daisies. A bouquet spills out of the highest cup — lilac clusters, yellow narcissi, a red bloom, a blue bud and green sprigs. A blue and violet butterfly sits beside the handle on the right. On the left a pale blue tag with the orange words “with love” hangs from a pink ribbon. Small flowers are scattered around the saucer below, and the printed pink ground with its faint leaves and stars is left unbeaded.
