Description

“Summer memories” is a lavender field under a swirling sky and a large golden sun.

What the picture shows

The sun rises at the upper right — a dense disc of gold and amber rows with beams radiating out. The sky is wound into spirals of azure, blue and white, and a second pale circle glows to the left. Dark green crowns of trees and shrubs run across the middle, and the lower third is taken by even furrows of lavender: violet, lilac and pink rows converging towards the horizon. The beads fill the sky, the sun, the trees and the flowers; the shadows between the lavender rows stay printed. The lavender rows narrow towards the horizon: three or four beads wide in each furrow at the front, a single bead deep in the distance.
