Description

“Stick of sakura” shows pink cherry blossom against a muted ornamental ground.

What the picture shows

The branch enters at the top left corner and comes down, while a second, thinner one reaches to the right. The bark is worked in brown and dark burgundy beads, and the flowers sit along it: five rounded petals of pale pink, pink and white beads with golden stamens at the centre. Tight dark pink buds and small green leaves show between the open blooms. The blossom is densest on the left, while the right-hand twig is sparser, with single flowers. The background is printed and divided into rectangles: a pale beige top, grey and burgundy panels with faint plant ornament, all left unbeaded.
