Description

“Monstera” shows large split monstera leaves and three butterflies on a pale ground.

What the picture shows

Leaves fill almost the whole square: the big one at the bottom left and the one at the top centre are stitched in several greens, from bright at the edges to nearly black deep in the splits, with veins laid in pale blue and turquoise beads. Another dark leaf sits at the top right, and narrow light green shoots push up between them. Butterflies rest in three corners: large ones with brown wings marked in orange, white and cream at the top left and bottom right, and a smaller one at the top right. The background is pale with a faint printed leaf pattern, and a band of green bamboo print runs along the edge; these areas stay unbeaded.
