Description

“Lori parrots” shows two brightly coloured parrots among tropical leaves and flowers.

What the picture shows

The upper bird perches almost upright: head and breast are stitched in yellow and gold beads, the beak and the specks on its chest in red, the back shading into green and turquoise. The lower parrot turns sideways — a blue body, green wings, a red breast and a yellow band along its flank. Foliage spreads around them: long feathery branches in green, turquoise and white, wide pale leaves with veins, golden stems. Flowers hide between the branches — pink and raspberry stars on the left, a yellow and white bloom on the right, orange petals below. A dark grey printed rectangle stays behind, and the border of the picture is printed as pale woven bamboo.
