Description

“Little One of Moonlit Legends” is a small blue dragon curled up on a golden crescent moon.

What the picture shows

The moon arcs in a wide curve across the whole picture, worked in gold and bronze beads with an embossed pattern of scrolls. A small dragon lies on the crescent: body in blue and azure, wings folded, tail wrapped round the horn of the moon, face calm with closed eyes. Golden stars of different sizes are scattered over the dark grey ground around it. The ground stays printed, so the gold of the moon and the blue scales carry the work; there are only ten colours, and each of them is clearly visible. The folded wings are marked out with a few arcs of darker blue, and they are what separates the dragon from the golden curve beneath it.
