Description

“Honey dream” shows a large bee in a wreath of daisies under a golden moon.

What the picture shows

The bee spreads its wings in the middle of the picture: the abdomen is stitched in bands of orange, gold and dark brown beads, the thorax and head are dark with a white star on the brow, and the legs and antennae are worked in brown. The wings are left semi-transparent — only outline rows of gold and white beads lie on them, so the print shows through. A wreath curves around: white and pink daisies with orange centres, small flowers and green sprigs, closing at the bottom in a dense row of blooms. A crescent moon in orange and gold beads with a pattern inside hangs above, ringed by small stars. The dark grey printed ground stays unbeaded.
