“Holiday Delivery” is a red car in the snow carrying a fir tree and a pile of presents on its roof.

What the picture shows

The car stands three-quarters on and fills the lower two thirds: the body is worked in red and deep cherry beads, the wings and bumper in silver, the windows grey-blue. A green fir and a stack of boxes in red paper with gold ribbons are tied to the roof rack. Snow falls around it as white beads of different sizes, snow-covered firs darken behind the car, and drifts lie on the ground. The grey-blue winter ground stays as printing on the canvas. The snow on the roof and bonnet is worked in white beads flecked with pale blue, so it looks heaped rather than flat.
