Description

“Happy winter” shows a snow globe with a young bull and a fir tree under a string of bunting.

What the picture shows

The globe stands on a brown base with the word “WINTER” stitched across it in pale blue letters. Inside is a rust-coloured bull calf in a blue cap with a white muzzle and small horns, beside a green fir tree hung with red and blue baubles and a yellow star on top. Snow lies beneath them, with a pink parcel and a yellow box on it. Arcs of white, green, yellow and pale blue beads run over the glass like reflections, and a yellow star with a long ray glows on the left. Bunting spelling “HAPPY” hangs from a cord above. Small flower-shaped snowflakes are scattered around. The white and blue watercolour ground stays as print.
