Description

“Chameleon” shows a stylised chameleon built from dots and arcs in an ethnic manner.

What the picture shows

The lizard fills the centre and faces left: the outline of its body, feet and curled tail is drawn with a continuous row of pale blue beads, while everything inside is filled with pattern — a large eye ringed in red and yellow, a radiating crown of red, orange and yellow on the head, rows of coloured dots and small arcs along the back, a star and gold scrolls on the tail. Leaves are scattered over the background: black outlines, red and turquoise ones, with clusters of small red and gold beads between them. The background is printed in ochre, brown and green streaks like an old wall, and it is left unbeaded.
