Description

“Bull” shows a bull's head filled with folk floral ornament.

What the picture shows

The head faces the viewer straight on and fills almost the whole square. The outline and horns are drawn in black beads, and the horns themselves are filled with red and green waves. A large heart of green ribbon lies on the brow, holding blue and pink flowers, yellow specks and a red rosette. The ears spread out to the sides in yellow, orange and brown with fine pattern. Lower down, on either side of the muzzle, pink roses with green leaves are laid, and a blue and violet scroll runs between the nostrils. The eyes are small, ringed in black, with pale blue pupils. The background is printed: soft watercolour washes of pink, lilac, yellow and green, left unbeaded.
