Description

“Breath of Fire” is a dragon’s head inside a golden circle, with emerald scales and long horns.

What the picture shows

The profile fills the centre: the muzzle is long, the jaws slightly open, and curved horns and a crest of sharp plates sweep back from the brow. The scales are worked in emerald, turquoise and gold beads, the underside lighter, with a dark mane along the neck. The dragon is set into a thin gold circle with scrollwork at the corners, and an amber disc of sun glows at the upper left. The grey-green washed ground stays printed, and the gold reads especially clearly against it. The scales on the neck are beaded in small overlapping arcs, while the muzzle is worked in even rows, so the skin there looks smooth.
