Description

“Autumn light” is a black lantern with a candle among pumpkins and fallen leaves.

What the picture shows

A wrought lantern with a pointed cap and a ring on top stands in the centre; its panes are worked in dark grey and black beads, and a warm yellow candle burns inside with a halo around it. Orange pumpkins with russet sides lie on either side, next to red berries and amber leaves, with a few leaves lifting into the air. The ground is white with a faint grey patch behind the lantern; it stays printed, which makes the flame look brighter. The lantern glass is given in two tones: pale yellow where the flame stands behind it, grey and almost transparent at the sides.
