Description

“At the age of the azure” shows an orange bicycle with a basket of flowers on a sandy shore.

What the picture shows

The bicycle stands side-on and spans almost the full width: frame, mudguards and handlebars are worked in orange, rust and pink beads, the saddle darker, the spokes and rims picked out in white, beige and brown. A woven basket in brown and gold beads hangs from the bars, spilling over with pink, raspberry, yellow and white blooms on green sprigs. Grasses and small flowers grow out of the sand on both sides, and rows of white and grey mark the incoming wave along the bottom. The background stays printed: turquoise water, old wooden piles, a sailing boat on the horizon and a pale sky with warm sunlight.
