Description

“Wedding tinsel” shows two white doves on a flowering branch with hearts swinging on threads beneath them. It uses the fewest colours in the series.

What the picture shows

The branch runs horizontally across the middle of the sheet, thick with pink flowers built from fine beads in two shades of pink, and green leaves. Two doves perch at its centre — their bodies stay as white print, while the beads outline the contours, wings and tails. Thin strands hang down from the branch carrying red and pink hearts of different sizes, a green wreath-heart of leaves and a pink lantern-cage with a tassel. More hearts are scattered across the white field. The ground stays white and unbeaded, which is what keeps the piece so open. Five colours.
