Description

“Wedding birds” shows two doves beak to beak on a cherry branch, with two rings beside them. The piece is horizontal and set on a very pale ground.

What the picture shows

The doves sit in the middle, turned towards each other: the plumage is worked in white and pale blue beads with clear rows across the wings, and the long tails fall in several separated strands. The branch beneath them is brown with a bronze sheen and spreads to both sides. Cherry blossom opens across the full width — five pink petals and a yellow centre built from single beads, with green leaves and small buds beside them. Two interlocking gold rings lie in the lower right. The white canvas between the branches is left unbeaded, so the whole composition stays light and open. Ten colours.
