Microbead Embroidery Postcard-Envelope Kit "Three moths"

“Three moths” shows three orange and black butterflies on cornflowers. The wings take up almost the whole sheet.

What the picture shows

The butterflies are placed on a diagonal: the largest at the upper left, the second at the middle right, the third along the bottom. All three are shown with open wings. The wing pattern is worked densely — a black base, orange and red bands across it, yellow dots along the margin and white highlights at the tips, with the antennae drawn out in single beads. Blue-lilac cornflowers with fine toothed petals open beneath and between them, and green stems curl away to left and right. The pale green ground with its blurred flowers stays as printing — the micro beads go only into the butterflies, the cornflowers and the foliage, so seven colours produce a very high-contrast image.
